After almost a year of waiting, People en Español finally introduced Matías Gregorio, the son of Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil. In the midst of a media wave after the couple's separation, the Venezuelan actress opened the doors of her home in Mexico City and spoke exclusively to the magazine about how her life has changed since her offspring came into the world. “Matías's arrival was a miracle. It changed a lot of things and I have to say that the day I entered this house I said that this would be the house; I chose her pregnant, Matías chose her,”said the 37-year-old actress.

It was in December that De Sousa and his son's father moved and renovated this cozy abode south of the Mexican capital to welcome their offspring. Unfortunately, the dream of a happy family disappeared in the blink of an eye. After Matías Gregorio was born in January, Gil left the house in March. “Right now I am much calmer. They have been very strong moments”, confesses the actress, who currently has a legal fight with Gil to define, among other issues, the support of her baby. "[I try] not to be affected [especially] by my son, who even though he is very young receives everything."

According to her ex, despite her absence, her little one will also receive his love. "I am going to defend [my relationship with my son] because it is my blood," the 46-year-old Argentine actor told People en Español in April. “The saddest thing is that I have to be judged on whether or not I am a good father. The fact that I am not with Marjorie has nothing to do with it. And I don't have to be testing anything either. I'm also not going to stay in a relationship if I'm not happy to make a person happy.”
