For several months Marjorie de Sousa has lived an ordeal due to the constant legal fights with her ex Julián Gil, with whom she had her son Matías. To overcome it and get ahead, the actress has not only taken refuge in her work in the series Al otro otro del muro (Telemundo), she has also relied on her family and friends.
How would you describe this personal moment that you are living?
The deeper you step, the more momentum you grab if you know where you want to go. Sometimes we do not see why we are as stunned, blinded in some way by some life problems, but if you take advantage of those problems, they are like a springboard to achieve important things in your life as a human being, woman, as mom, as daughter, sister.
So, have you learned from all these conflicts you've been through?
It has been a very important growth to realize who you really have and who you don't and what is really worth it in life. Sometimes we worry about nonsense and there are things that weigh more.
You are stronger …
As a woman I am very happy, I went through moments of great agony, I felt very emotionally beaten, vulnerable with many fears on the surface. Many wounds, but it has been a beautiful way of holding on to God, because I believe that without faith we are nothing and it has been magical to hold on to his hand and help me, but above all, to hold on to his hand, is to hold my son's hand, I see him and say he is an angel, he is a sacred thing.
