Once again, Hispanic Heritage Month was celebrated in the United States, and like many, Ana Patricia Gámez took advantage of her roots to join the festivities.
For this, the winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010 was accompanied by her adorable daughter, 2-year-old Giulietta, who recently stole a camera in the show Look who dances! from Univision.
“Hispanic Heritage Month has always been very important to me. It is the month of the fatherland in Mexico because we celebrate independence”, explains the presenter of ¡Despierta América!. “When I went to school, I was looking forward to participating in the parade. At night, all of us together as a family went to the base of the city to participate in the famous cry for independence. People reply 'Long live!' to Hidalgo's famous words against Spanish rule to represent the beginning of Mexico's war of independence."
