Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West have hired a surrogacy mother to have a third baby, People magazine confirmed.

The couple already has two children: North, 4 years old; and Saint, 1 year old. But as the magazine reports, they want to increase the family. Following Kardashian West's assault on the Armanda hand in Paris last year and West's subsequent emotional crisis, it was rumored that the couple may have faced problems. However, this decision to seek a surrogate for a baby could indicate that the couple is ready to move forward with their plans as a family.

The businesswoman has repeatedly said through her television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians (E! Entertainment) that she yearns for more children, even if she has had pregnancies in the past. However, she also revealed on the show that after her second pregnancy, the doctors explained that if she were to return to health, her health could be at serious risk.

"I would like nothing more than to be able to increase my family and know that I have a world in my house that is safe," said the also socialite on the television program, according to People.

The magazine also highlights that in a publication that Kardashian West made on his blog, he established how difficult and traumatic it was for her and her mother when the doctor had to put her hand in order to detach the placenta during her first pregnancy. This is because he suffered from the attached placental condition, as confirmed by People through a source in 2015.
