Bárbara Bermudo claims to feel free as a bird after leaving Univisión. The Puerto Rican journalist, who is among the Most Beautiful People in Spanish of 2017, spoke exclusively with the magazine about her new work plans. “We are working on three extremely important projects for me. Yes I would love to go back to television. I think that will happen very soon,”he says.
When will your expected return be? “They ask me a lot and I would love to come back tomorrow, but I am taking this time to be with my family, to find myself, to know what I want to do. I feel free to do many things now that they didn't let me do professionally. I am taking advantage of the moment to organize my ideas and to dedicate time to my daughters and then know where God wants to place me.”
Bermudo recently shared a commercial for Neutrogena on her social networks that she recorded with her husband, Colombian journalist Mario Andrés Moreno. She also ensures that her daughters Mia, Camila and Sofía are a constant source of inspiration. “They are my driving force that push me to keep going, to continue to shape myself for my ideals, for my future, for my projects. I tell them that they are my mini-entrepreneurs, my partners in all aspects of my life.”
The presenter, who was recently nominated for an Emmy for her work on First Impact, thanked the loyalty of her supporters who have supported her since her contract with Univision was not renewed. "I take this opportunity to thank all those people who have supported me since my departure from Univisión, have written to me, have not detached themselves from my social networks, have expressed unconditional love for me, for my family," he concludes.
