Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil welcomed their son Matías Gregorio Gil de Sousa at a hospital in Mexico City at 9:40 am local time.
"They are all very well," confirmed the publicist for the Venezuelan actress, Alberto Gómez. "She has blond hair, she is beautiful."
Matías weighed 2 kilos 800 grams, about 6.17 pounds, and is in perfect health, like his mother.
The little one is the first child of Marjorie and Julián, although the actor of Argentine origin already has two children from previous relationships: Nicole, 30; and Julián.
The couple announced that they were together and pregnant exclusively with People en Español last September. "I always said that I was missing something and I was missing that, a family, although I do have one," said Gil.
The actors' love story began in 2011, but it wasn't until last year that the two gave free rein to their feelings and eventually became a couple.
"When you analyze things, the truth was a beautiful relationship, but at the wrong time," Gil admitted in an interview. "Every thing comes when it has to come." That's right, gentlemen.
