Luz Elena González knows very well what it is to be a mother of a child who has special needs. Her son Santiago, 9 years old, suffers from attention deficit as a consequence of an immaturity in his neurological development. Therefore, coinciding with the celebration of special education week -which is celebrated every year by children who receive different education due to their special abilities-, the Mexican actress wanted to send a message through her social networks to raise awareness people about this condition.

“It is the week of special education, autism, dyslexia, ADHD (attention deficit with and without hyperactivity). For all the children who struggle every day to succeed and those who try to help them. It would be good to teach our children to be kind and to accept all classmates. Children with special needs are not strangers. They want what everyone wants: to be accepted!”Luz Elena wrote on Instagram.

The actress - who is also the mother of María José, 4 years old - has learned to value the little things in life thanks to the teachings her first-born leaves her through the achievements she achieves in her day to day.

"When you have a" normal "child, who gets good grades, you are happy. When you do what you are asked to do, you are happy. But it is a "normal" joy because, of course, it is your obligation. But when you have a child with some limitations with each learning and success, you pulse and vibrate as if you had won the lottery, "acknowledged the Mexican artist -who has participated in melodramas such as A lucky family and Before dead than Lichita.

After a few months away from television, Luz Elena soon returns to soap operas with Enamorándome de Ramón, Televisa's new production.

In this story, which is already recorded in Mexico with the leading performances of Esmeralda Pimentel and José Ron, the actress gives life to a woman who has problems in her marriage. His partner this time is Arturo Carmona.

Falling in love with Ramón will premiere the first quarter of next year in Mexico.
