“The good thing is that we live in Los Angeles. I love summer so I like to see Gaia in something comfortable but also chic. I don't like to see them well dressed without them being comfortable because I want them to have fun. That's why I like this classic Janie and Jack collection, reminding me of a child from the Hamptons where they can be kids, play on the beach, and still look chic. Most of the time I choose what they wear because they are not yet specific in what they want to wear.”
What is the most difficult part of having twins?
“You have two completely different personalities who are always together and also collide. So the hardest part is making sure that you both feel happy and that you feel that you are paying the same attention to them.”
What is the funniest part?
“With twins you have two different personalities and you can connect with them in different ways, and that's a lot of fun. Sometimes my daughter wants to hug me and she is very attached, very loving. Aether talks a lot and likes to interact. It is very funny and very funny, and that is very entertaining. He is always jumping and even makes everything more fun for Gaia. When they're taking a nap and she wakes up first, after five minutes the first thing she does is call him 'Aether, Aether', like she's looking for him.”
Which one of them is already showing love for fashion?
“They are always in my closet. Their love of fashion is that they always want new things. They get very excited [with new clothes] and want to wear it right away. I don't think they are specific about what they want to wear and I don't want them to be that way because they are still children.”
