Upon entering the house, he found his baby's car seat and Heidi's keys, and didn't think there was anything suspicious at first, imagining that he was at the home of a friend who lived nearby. However, she began to worry when, after several hours, Heidi did not answer her cell phone. He called all of her friends, who didn't know anything about her either, and then decided to call 911 for help with their search.
