“The most beautiful thing about being a mother of a large family is knowing your capacity to love. The heart widens! Each new day fills me with sweetness and laughter. I fall in love every day at home with one of my children. I never expected to be so full of love without leaving home. There is always noise, always anecdotes, small prayers that surprise you, a thousand kisses in the morning and at night”, says Giovanna.

But not everything is rosy: “The hardest thing for now has been the feeling that I cannot give everyone the same time. I have to divide myself into a thousand and how far I go… And what I have worse is that we still cannot all move together as a family. We can't fit in a car because I can't fit 5 car seats! she exclaims laughing, "because they are all small." I keep deciphering that part! Hahaha"

Your favorite time of day? “My favorite moment is after I bathe at five. I always have time to have everyone in my bed for a little while and hug them and see something together, or read a story or play on the floor before bed and pray with my husband, Jordan, and with them.”

We asked Giovanna if she would recommend the experience of having a large family. This is what he replied: “I would always recommend it. You start to put selfishness aside. You are always there for your children. There is no time for the ego. You always receive love. There is not a single day that I do not look up to the sky and exclaim with a full heart, thank you! This is my life. This is my family and I am fully happy.”
