Celebrities use their voices and call to help the state of Sinaloa in Mexico, after the devastating rains that have left the central and northern parts of the state underwater. Among the first to demonstrate was Luis Angel Franco, vocalist of Banda Los Recoditos, who kept discretion before the Latin Grammy nomination for Best Album Band, to ask for help for his compatriots.
“It is about helping our Sinaloan brothers on this occasion. They are very affected by natural phenomena, so I ask everyone for their support. Mexico is a very united country and I think that this time we will also take out the caste for our Sinaloan brothers,”he published through an instagram video.
Franco, like the rest of his bandmates, reside in the southern part of the affected state.
Who has not stopped reporting on the collection centers and ways to help, has been Eden Múñoz, vocalist of the Caliber 50 group. Through his social networks, the singer has kept his followers up to date on the situation thanks to information received from family and friends.
For his part, Larry Hernández, whose family lives in the affected areas, confessed that he had never seen devastation of this size on his land and urged his followers to help.
But not only Sinaloan artists ask for help for their state. The international actress Eiza González, answered the call of one of her followers who informed her of the situation.

In the past few days, heavy rains were recorded in the state of Sinaloa, caused by the tropical depression Nineteen-E, causing severe floods in several cities, including the capital of Culiacán.
According to reports, the Ministry of Public Security confirmed the disappearance of several people in the affected areas. In Los Mochis, a total of approximately 360 millimeters of water was registered, where hundreds of people continue in shelters and several areas of the city are isolated.
For its part, the Mexican Red Cross has already taken action and will send 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the affected population, with which they hope to benefit more than 8,000 people.
According to the National Meteorological Service in Mexico, this is the first time that a tropical cyclone of this magnitude has formed in that region.
