Glee actor Mark Salling pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and could face four to seven months in prison, followed by twenty years of supervised release, according to documents Deadline obtained.

Salling, known for his role as Noah Puck Puckerman in the series, must also register as a sex offender and is prohibited from communicating with anyone under the age of 18 without the presence of his parents or legal guardian. Likewise, Salling will pay a personal user. This, the Huffington Post explains, was reported by his girlfriend back then. In addition, authorities found pornographic images of minors on a Salling-owned hard drive, court documents indicate.

Upon his release, following the crime he is charged with, Salling may not be within 100 feet of a school, park, public pool, playground, video game center, or any other place that minors frequent.

When the arrest was made, Naya Rivera, who was the actor's girlfriend, explained in an interview that she was not entirely surprised. "For me, he was a very dark soul," Rivera explained to the Entertainment Tonight program. "I always felt like there was something he was fighting against," were Rivera's words at the time.
