Oprah Winfrey's successful business empire adds a new challenge with the launch of her own brand of frozen food, the Associated Press reported.
The communicator will put this line called O, That's Good! in supermarkets in the United States after partnering with food multinational Kraft Heinz Co., with which they have created a joint venture.
Among the products that will have as part of its catalog are a series of soups and side dishes with vegetables, such as the famous mashed potatoes with cauliflower mixed.
What has been clear is that this food brand is a new independent project of Winfrey and it was ruled out that it is part of the agreement that the also known Queen of the Media maintains with the diet company Weight Watchers, of which she has a 10 percent for a couple of years and it is his image in his television commercials.
This week the first orders for O, That's Good! and it is planned to have the entire United States covered by next October. This brand is expected to be as successful as all of the driver's projects, whose business projects go beyond audiovisual media.
Oprah's concern goes back a long way and her public struggle with being overweight has been one of the ties that has united her with her loyal audience, who consumes both her television shows, her magazine and her diet plans.
