A deaf man reported on social networks that he waited more than six hours in an emergency room of a hospital in the Spanish city of Almería last Saturday because he was only called on the PA system.

In the video broadcast on Facebook by Juan José Aguilera González, he tells through posters that he was in the Torreárdenas hospital from 11 am to see inflammation in one foot after having surgery for diabetes, but was not treated despite of having warned the employees of the center of their situation.

"I jumped out until 5:30 pm and nobody came because they called me on the loudspeaker, so I had to return to my house without being attended for almost seven hours, and I filed a claim," he regrets.

"Please do not call us on the loudspeakers, come to us and touch us," says Aguilera, who asks that hospitals for people with disabilities be adapted. ãßáç5í¾9õ¦¹ó zkO] ÛŽøoŽ7ïÇZ {vý

The Marea Blanca Almería organization released the video with an appeal to be more sensitive to the needs of people with "functional or sensory diversity".

It also requires hospital officials to take the necessary measures to prevent a similar event from happening again.

The video, which already reaches more than 7,600 views on Facebook and has been shared 242 times, has caused outrage among Internet users, who offer solutions such as putting a screen on which shifts are announced.
