Marc Anthony surprised everyone with the announcement of his new musical production: it is a children's album titled Marc Anthony for Babies, which will be released on Friday under his independent label Magnus Music.
The production was in charge of the singer, as well as Nacho and Carlos Escalona Cruz and was recorded in Miami, New York and Caracas. The album includes ten hits by Marc Anthony in a lullaby version: "What price does heaven have", "You Sang to Me", "The joy", "It was worth it", "Let's escape," Don't love me ", "Let me kiss you", "Now who", "Your love does me good" and "Live my life".
"I was excited when I first heard Nacho's idea of turning my music into an instrumental format inspired by children and I can't wait to share this project with families around the world," said the singer and ex-husband of Jennifer López in a release.
According to the record label, Nacho's re-interpretations of these family songs "are full of surprising and curious instrumental rhythms that recall the great cartoon stories of Carl Stalling ".
"Marc Anthony is not only an icon, but an institution of music," Nacho said in a statement. "Good music is important in the formation of an individual, so it seems great to start from birth."
"He continues to make hits and remains more current than ever, he has in his repertoire a number of classics that are difficult to enumerate, classics that personally I would like the new generation to have the opportunity to listen to," concluded Nacho.
