A new tragedy again shakes the world of entertainment. Authorities revealed that Tricia McCauley, whom we saw in the movie Step Up, with Channing Tatum, was found dead in her car in Washington DC
The artist, who was also a renowned yoga instructor, had been missing for two days. Her closest relatives were the ones who alerted the authorities after a friend told them that she did not see her, as they had planned, on Christmas day.
After two days of intense searching, authorities responded to the trail of a man who said he saw an individual driving McCauley's vehicle in the Dupont Circle area.
Police located the car and Adrian Duane Johnson, 22, driving it. Upon stopping him, they discovered the actress's corpse inside.
According to the authorities, Johnson had assaulted a CVS around the time the actress had disappeared two days earlier in that area.
A police spokesman indicated that he does not believe that the victim has met his alleged murderer, since he revealed that Tricia, 46, died of violent violence.
Johnson, who has a long criminal history, faces charges of first-degree murder.
