Cheli Madrid And Angel Del Villar Will Be Parents, Girl Or Boy?

Mexican singer Cheli Madrid and businessman Ángel del Villar, who were married last month, will welcome a girl next September.

This was confirmed to People en Español by the happy couple, who on Wednesday afternoon explained that their suspicions that it was going to be a boy were wrong and that therefore their first baby as a couple will be a girl.

“From the beginning we thought it was going to be a boy. When I was younger I thought: 'I want my first baby to be a girl', because I am my mother's first and I had to take care of my brothers, as well as another mother. Women are more maternal, careful. But when I thought I was going to be a boy, I said I already want a boy. I was already in love with a boy,”Cheli explained. “We found out that she is going to be a girl, it was a complete surprise. We weren't expecting it at all.”

However, they had already decided on the name for a girl and not for a boy as they wanted. The little heiress will be called Angela, in honor of her father.

“[I feel] very happy, very excited. For me this is to experience the whole process [of being a dad] again, I have never experienced it one hundred percent,”said Ángel, with an indelible smile.

Angela will be the fourth little woman for the businessman, who also has two men from previous relationships and, according to the singer, is ready to change diapers and get up at night to feed him.

“For me it is a very big emotion, more than anything in a new chapter. You are already at a certain age where you are more focused, on a family plan, on really making a future,”said the excited dad. "[I want to] enjoy the whole process, because with my other children, because of work commitments or X [thing] I couldn't enjoy it one hundred percent".

So far no detail has been lost and in this moment of quarantine he is more than ever taking care of his two women at home.

The new mom, who did not plan to have babies yet, is enjoying this unexpected new stage of her life without neglecting her professional career.

“I see so many moms singing and still working. I remember that I had just found out that I was pregnant when the Super Bowl thing came out and there was JLo [Jennifer López] and there was Shakira and I said to her: 'You see babe, yes I will continue singing,' she said.

"[Pregnancy] I see it as a little break from being on tour and away from home, so we are going to take advantage of these moments to write, to record, to plan the next projects," he added.

Among them is the music video for the song “In my destiny were you”, which will be released this Friday and with which it will celebrate a month of marriage. And to celebrate it, the couple decided to share the most significant moments of their relationship with their followers through video.

"You can see from the engagement, the wedding, to this news about the baby and other intimate things that we have not shared," said the businessman. "[The video] was very important to me because we wanted to give it to people."

Cheli and Ángel were married last February in one in an intimate and ultra-private ceremony, which only 75 people attended.

"We are surrounded by people who love us," said the businessman.
