The 41-year-old interpreter, who became widowed 8 months after getting married due to a disease as terrible as cancer, recalled this tragic episode in a recent interview for the charismatic Dominican journalist Lourdes Stephen's YouTube channel.

"I became a widow very young," said Soto, who recently returned to Telemundo screens as the protagonist of the premium series You Can't Hide.

“It was a cancer and I always try to support, to be present, well I really like supporting St. Jude, I also lost a little cousin of mine to cancer. Cancer is a super difficult disease, so the truth is that the people who go through that are warriors,”he declared.

Soto, who despite not being very active on social networks has more than 600,000 followers on Instagram alone, was sincere in recognizing why she does not like to talk about her private life.

"It's not that I don't like to show, but I prefer to keep my job and everything … I always try to teach them like bits and pieces, but I think private life … I had to learn to reserve it because it happened to me that it was difficult", added.
