Kate Middleton Confesses That She Felt Lonely When Her First Baby Was Born

At the birth of Prince George, the Dukes of Cambridge lived in Wales because Prince William was a RAF (Royal Air Force) pilot which kept him sometimes away from home or on night shifts. Kate Middleton, who was then a first-time mom, said she felt "away from everything and everyone" in Anglesey, during a recent visit to a Cardiff juvenile facility.

"It's nice to be back here," said the Duchess of Cambridge during the event. "I was telling some of the moms . George had just been born and William was still working as a search and rescue pilot. We came here and I had a tiny baby in the middle of Anglesey. I was so isolated and far from everything … I had no one from my family around and she worked night shifts. I wish I would have had a center like this nearby back then!” exclaimed Prince William's wife, revealing this vulnerable moment in his life, hitherto unknown.

Will these statements be an influence of his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle? She first spoke about the difficulties she had faced as a first-time mom in the controversial documentary that unleashed all the events that culminated last week on the Megxit.

Following the media harassment to which she was subjected around her pregnancy after her wedding, these were the words of the Duchess of Sussex, addressed to the journalist Tom Bradby: “All women and even more during pregnancy, we feel very vulnerable.
