Apparently not everything was happiness and harmony during the romantic relationship between Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil; According to the actor's sister, Patricia Ramosco, many problems for the couple were caused by Gloria Rivas, the mother of the protagonist of the soap opera Un poquito tuyo.

"90 percent was because of that [Gloria Rivas' involvement in the romance]," Ramosco mentioned to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). "Mom is a problem. According to Patricia Ramosco, Julián Gil had already finished the romance with Marjorie de Sousa when he found out that the actress was pregnant and they tried to save the relationship to have the child. As is well known, they ended shortly after the birth of Matías Gregorio.
