Being one of the beautiful and super sexy angels of Victoria's Secret is the dream of many women and also of many models such as the Spanish Blanca Padilla.
The 22-year-old from Madrid, had paraded for the lingerie brand in 2014 in London, and now marks history for being the first Spanish to walk it again. Apart from Padilla, only four Spanish women have had the good fortune to parade for them: Helena Barquilla (1995), Esther Cañadas (1997), Eugenia Silva (1999) and Clara Alonso (2008).
Since Padilla started modeling in 2013, he has paraded for big brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Dior, but he always had a clear goal of putting on angel wings again.
She had been trying to do it again since then with no luck, and this year, after doing several castings for Victoria's Secret and receiving yes from them, the model shared the following photo with a message of happiness and thanks to her 419 thousand followers on Instagram.
"I worked not only on my body but on my mind to live the last days and the same casting with a different perspective," Padilla wrote. “It wasn't so easy because I'm emotional and when you enter [the casting], your whole perfect plan falls apart! I remember how my legs were shaking when I went to my first casting for Victoria's Secret. But I wanted to get out of that room knowing that I gave my all and that I could find peace with any answer. And I left with tears in my eyes, but with joy!
“I can officially announce that I will be parading on the Victoria's Secret catwalk again. I don't know how to express my gratitude…. Thank you Spain, she said.
Padilla will be accompanied on the catwalk by great stars like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Maria Borges, Adriana Lima and more.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show does not have a date yet, but we already know that this year it will be in Shanghai, China.
