Talking about Michelle Obama is talking about one of the most beloved and respected first ladies, and of course one of the most fashionable. During her eight years in the White House, the former lawyer never ceased to amaze us with her smart and sometimes daring options to attend official events or simply to go on vacation with her family. We saw her carry pieces by designers such as Narciso Rodríguez, Jason Wu and Carolina Herrera, among others. So since Barack Obama ended her term and the family has been dedicated to traveling and keeping a low profile, we have missed Michelle's looks. Luckily, the former first lady reappeared at a gala in Los Angeles and we loved her fabulous outfit.

Michelle arrived at the ESPN ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, where she had the honor of recognizing the work of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, founder of the Special Olympics. There we saw her looking regal, slimmer and very modern.

For the event, Michelle chose a form-fitting black long-sleeved dress with an asymmetric neckline from the Cushnie et Ochs fall 2017 collection, which perfectly showed off her curves and now slimmer figure. Although the original model is a little more sexy and with touches of sequins, we must admit that this version, more minimalist, was quite a hit.

“I am here tonight to honor an honorable woman, a woman who believed that everyone had something to contribute and that everyone deserved the opportunity to get ahead, discover what they are capable of, and win,” said Michelle about of the disappeared philanthropist. "She knew that if she gave others the opportunity to exploit her potential, we all won."

To complement her elegant dress, the former first lady chose Jennifer Fisher patent leather tip shoes and earrings. Definitely her style continues to evolve and in what way. Keep it up Michelle!
