Becoming a mother is not an easy thing. Whether you are rich and famous or a mere mortal, the arrival of a baby always comes loaded with challenges. And this is exactly what is happening to Kat Von D with her newborn, Leafar Von D Reyes.

This Wednesday the singer and beauty businesswoman confessed through her networks that she is having trouble breastfeeding and that for this reason she has had to resort to a stranger to donate milk to feed her baby.

"During the first two days of Leafar's life, her blood sugar levels were extremely low and despite the fact that I am extremely committed to giving her milk that is strictly from my breast, my milk did not come out," confessed Von D on Instagram.

"The pediatrician suggested that I ask around if any of my friends had milk that they could donate to me because otherwise I would not have to consider feeding him [formula] milk, something that I personally did not want to do," the 36-year-old diva explained when sharing a photo of your baby next to her breast and wrapped in black blankets.

Von D says he asked for help from his midwife to find someone who could donate her breast milk. But beware, the ideal candidate had to be strictly vegan and consume a diet based only on the consumption of plants and legumes, similar to that of Von D.

In the end, thanks to the power of social networks, Von D contacted Morgan Campbell, the good Samaritan woman who donated milk for her little boy. "Even without knowing me, without asking questions, he offered himself and donated a few ounces in the middle of the night," said the happy mom. "It goes without saying that Leafar's [sugar] levels increased and that now we are happy and breastfeeding at home."

The news comes just a day after the multi-rated diva set the networks on fire by featuring her black-clad baby from head to toe alongside her father, musician Leafar Seyer. In the photo, the baby, only days old, appears in her father's arms and next to an elegant stroller, all covered in jet black clothes.
