Marjorie De Sousa On The Health Of Her Son

After having a good scare, Marjorie De Sousa assured that her son Matías is out of danger after the medical emergency he suffered.

“We hereby inform you that Matías Gregorio Gil de Sousa's health is optimal and out of danger. Last night there was an episode derived from the baby's reflux condition, where an apparent emergency situation arose,”the Venezuelan said in a statement.

“Like any mother or father, in a similar situation, an ambulance service was requested to 911. Fortunately, thanks to the immediate attention of her nurse and pediatrician, there was no need for additional medical attention or hospital admission. He added.

The Venezuelan actress denied that her ex-partner, actor Julián Gil, was not notified, as reported. Marjorie de Sousa immediately and as it is her obligation, communicated the situation to Julián Gil since, as Matías's father, he has to be aware of everything that happens in his environment, contrary to information that has been handled in some media that indicate otherwise,”he clarified.

De Sousa, who appears with the baby on the cover of the new edition of People en Español, thanked those who worried about the health of the beautiful little boy.

"It is important to highlight that we are infinitely grateful for the calls and the concern of the media, which unfortunately were informed by the call for civil protection and not by our official office or conduit," he affirmed in the brief. "We reiterate our appreciation and understanding on behalf of the family and especially Matías."
