Carlos Ponce Talks About The Artistic Talent Of His Four Children

Carlos Ponce, who stars in the soap opera Silvana sin lana (Telemundo), considers that his four children - Giancarlo, 16, Sebastián, 14, and the twins Savannah and Sienna, 13 - “have a lot of talent” in different branches, both in music and in acting.

“Sebastián [for example] plays different instruments and he is also an excellent singer, however he is very shy. He doesn't like being the center of attention,”Ponce told People en Español.

In fact, the actor shared a video days ago through his social networks in which he proudly boasts of the musical talent of his offspring.

I recorded that video hidden, that's why I'm behind and he doesn't see much of his face because he doesn't like it when you upload it to the networks either. I actually asked for permission after I recorded it without permission and he didn't even know I was going to be there because he doesn't let me know,”said Ponce, who several weeks ago finished recording Silvana without wool.

Despite the undeniable talent of his four children, the actor prefers that they finish their studies first so that they have a career, since he knows how difficult the artistic medium is.

“I am totally unaware of the music business today, I don't know how it is run, but the acting business is widely rejected. You have to have a very hard armor because you have to audition 100 times and 99% are going to say no. If you do not know how to get rid of it or not take it personally, it starts to give you a slump,”acknowledged Ximena Duque's ex-boyfriend.

The artist would like his children to take acting and music as a plan b. However, it is clear that he will support them in whatever they decide to do.

“I am going to continue working very hard to [pay] for their universities. But let's see what happens. God's plan is divine and there is no one to manipulate it. There I have no control, simply what you have to do is support what they decide to do and advise them not to improvise and to always be the best”, concluded the also protagonist of the soap opera Perro amor.
