A few days after the due date, the news presenter of Despierta América (Univisión), Satcha Pretto, shares details about the final stretch of her pregnancy.
“I have had a dream pregnancy, much better than I expected. I'm still exercising, I had to stop running at week 34 because my tummy was already weighing me down a lot, but I continue five or six days a week, three I do cardio and the other three I do weight training. Not as much as before obviously, but I stay active,”says the Honduran journalist.
Pretto already has in mind how much free time he is going to take for maternity. “I'm going to take the three months of maternity leave that they allow here in the United States. My child has not been born and I already have the anguish of having to return, how will it be when I have him in my arms!”He says.
Her mom will be around to help her when her offspring is born. “The idea is that my sister-in-law will accompany us on the due date, after my mom arrives a few days later and stays for at least three weeks, I am going to need your help greatly. Then my mother would come back when I am about to return to work so that I can stay a little calmer, knowing that my son is not only in the company of the nanny, but also of the grandmother.”
The journalist confesses that she has the baby's room ready. The room is 92 percent ready. I'm just waiting for two little things, a rug and a small table, and we are very happy because my husband and I did it. We have a painting that my sister-in-law gave us that was made by Aaron's mother, who unfortunately passed away in 2009, and this painting had been made by her first grandson and then my sister-in-law gave it to us to have some of it in the little room. of our son”.
Regarding the baby's name, the presenter comments: “My husband and I have already chosen a name for our first boy, but we will not share it until he is born. It has two names. The idea was always that at least one could be pronounced in English and Spanish and that it was a more Hispanic name, so they will know it soon."
