Kendall Jenner Talks About Terrifying Run-in With Her Stalker

Fame has its many perks, but it also has its many downsides. And in a promo for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner described the run-in with her stalker that happened last August in front of her home, and it sounds incredibly scary.

The offender was a man Kendall recognized, because he had actually bothered her twice before at a previous residence (which we can only imagine made the encounter that much scarier). And although Kendall's account is unsettling, it sounds like she was thinking on her feet during the stressful situation.

“So I came home one night and there was a guy sitting on the side of my street, and I was like, 'That's so weird,' she tells Kris Jenner and Scott Disick. “[…] I drove around and went into my house and I watched the gate close. I turned my car off, getting my stuff together. I'm about to open my door and look in my rear-view mirror and he was standing right there. In the gate, right behind my car.”

That's when things got really scary. "I was like, 'No, you need to leave,'" Jenner recalled. "I called one of my friends immediately. I'm sobbing, crying. He was at my window, banging on my window, screaming at me.”

Kendall then backed out of her driveway, at which point her friends arrived and helped detain the man before police arrived.

An incident like that would be hard to bounce back from, and Kendall's life has definitely been altered since the encounter. I had someone break into my house. I used to be the one who was so independent. I was always kind of by myself, in a good way, but now it's like, fully flipped,”she said in the clip.

Our hearts are going out to Kendall (whose house was also recently burglarized). No one deserves to feel unsafe in their own home, and we sincerely hope that this kind of incident never occurs again.
