A California judge reversed the temporary restraining order that Jennifer Lopez's attorneys had obtained against her alleged stalker Timothy McLanahan.
JLo's legal team did not appear last Tuesday in court, as it did not have some documents necessary to continue the proceedings against the harasser. For this reason, the judge in charge of the process would have made the decision to end the restraining order.
The singer's representatives accuse McLanahan of having followed her from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and sending her gifts and emails that the star does not want to receive.
According to Page Six, McLanahan already has a criminal record for threats and violations of firearm possession laws, which is why the Bronx Diva feels not only her safety, but also that of her little Emme and Max, 8 years.
The restraining order had been granted to the star of the show American Idol after the man was arrested earlier this year for a violation of private property after illegally breaking into the residence of Marc Anthony's ex.
Outside of her litigation with McLanahan, 2017 seems to be a year of success and good news for the beautiful artist. Not only do they blow winds of a new romance with Canadian singer Drake, he will also premiere the second season of the hit series Shades of Blue and will soon debut as a judge in the new World of Dance dance competition, both on NBC.
