In the face of so many dramatic moments that are being experienced in hospitals, doctors and nurses from time to time resort to prayer to ask for help and comfort the patients they serve in crowded rooms and corridors.

Videos are circulating on social media in which medical center staff join in praying, as this video apparently shot at a New York City hospital shows.

Another short recording that has gone viral shows the time hundreds of people gathered outside Cartersville Hospital in Georgia to tune in to a Christian station and sing religious chants.

“I personally know people here who have [suffered from] the coronavirus. And one of our church members passed away, "said Jennifer Hyde, one of the women who participated in the prayer chain, according to the Atlanta Fox Fox.

In addition, a group of people gathered outside the Annie Penn Hospital medical center in North Carolina to offer a religious service, including social distancing, to pray for the safety of those who work there.

"Today, area pastors and staff from Annie Penn Hospital gathered in our parking lot for a blessing service," according to the hospital's Facebook account.

Also in Florida, dozens of vehicles parked near the Poinciana Medical Center in Kissimmee, Florida, where they flashed their lights and honked their horns to show their support for hospital staff battling the disease.
