They Kill A Young Man Who Defended A Victim Of Bullying

A 16-year-old student was shot dead after defending a fellow student who had been the victim of bullying at an Arlington, Texas, school.

Police reported that Samuel Reynolds was outside his home when a 15-year-old boy with whom he had previously argued approached him with a revolver and shot him.

According to a police spokesman quoted by CNN, Reynolds had interceded days before on behalf of a 15-year-old schoolmate who was being molested and therefore began to have problems with the suspect.

The security cameras of the building where the crime was committed shows the moment in which the aggressor takes out a.40 caliber pistol and shoots the victim.

The young suspect was arrested shortly after authorities viewed the recording and faces first-degree murder charges.

“This senseless act of violence has no place in society and in our local community. This was an emotionally difficult case for officers, investigators and paramedics,”Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson said on Twitter. "We will direct our attention to how a young teenage suspect accessed the firearm used in this crime."

According to the CBS network, the agents who responded to the call for help found the young wounded man from the bullet lying on the ground. He was immediately transferred to the local hospital, where his death was declared.

Reynolds was a sophomore in high school and played on the soccer team. The tragedy that occurred around 4:30 in the afternoon on February 6, has mourned this city located in the western state of Texas.
