Noel Torres Suffers A Car Accident

Singer Noel Torres says he has a lot to be thankful for after surviving a car accident that could have cost him and his team's life.

“The whole team is fine, I'm fine, absolutely nothing happened to anyone thanks to God. It was just a scare”, she assures PEOPLE EN ESPA<2FEMININE>OL.

A scare that now makes him value life more and that left him a great teaching of how important it is to be a good Samaritan.

On Sunday morning, the interpreter and seven members of his team traveled in a 15-passenger van from South Carolina to Atlanta, where they would take a flight back home, in California. Unfortunately, a towering deer attempted to cross the two-lane highway and was run over by Torres' driver, who was unable to dodge it.

“I heard the impact, it was heard very loudly. But I don't know what happened,”says the singer, who was traveling in the passenger seat but was answering messages from his followers on Instagram. “The blow was heard. [The driver] was shocked. There were about two or three seconds that the control of the truck was lost.”

It was not until Torres ordered the driver to stop the van that already smelled burned, that he realized the magnitude of the impact.

"The truck was rendered useless. This was not anything, it could have been worse,”says the singer, who shared a video on his Instagram account that alarmed his followers. "I was in shock. Incidents like these teach you to value your life. Tomorrow is not assured for anyone. I started thinking about all that. We could have been hit hard or even passed away. I thought a thousand things”.

- much less knew the regional Mexican music, so his offer to help was born from the heart.

"[He is] a good person, he really helped us a lot," he says. "She didn't even ask [our name], she just [did] kindly."

The singer exchanged information with the young man and hopes that a good friendship was born from that incident. Torres continues with his busy work schedule and this week he will record the video of a single that will be released soon.
