The world of YouTube influencers and personalities is not always what it seems. That has been made clear once again with a video that has gone viral where the landlady of a popular Chinese network personality exposed that the glamorous girl actually lived among items, garbage and mold.
The truth was revealed in the video published by Pear Video where the landlord of the influencer Lisa Li, -identified only as Ms. Chen- recounts the conditions in which her tenant left the house located in Xi'an, a province of the center of China located southwest of the capital Beijing.
The woman explained that seven cleaning professionals declined to work at the site because of its "unpleasant conditions." In the video you can see the interior of the tiny house that looks like a real pigsty with moldy objects scattered everywhere, dirty cat litter boxes, and garbage everywhere.
Lisa Li is a popular influencer who has more than 1.1 million followers on Weibo, one of the most popular social media platforms in the Asian country.
The woman also claims that Lisa Li owes her 3,000 yuan in arrears, that is, some rivers she left on the site.
Still, the clip has damaged her reputation to the point that some 60,000 followers have stopped following her, according to the DailyMail. Will they return?
