Although her name has been kept in reserve by the authorities, a 29-year-old Colombian woman has been the protagonist of the headlines of the press in her country when she was arrested for defrauding several members of the police of her country, whom she seduced and later asked help in applying for money loans to financial institutions.

As revealed by the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo on its online site, the audacious woman was posing as a Bogota police lieutenant, wearing official uniform and insignia. In this way, she managed to establish sentimental relationships with senior managers of the same institution.

Details about the woman's mode of operation reveal that after she managed to gain the trust of her victims, she asked them for help to access loans in banks and when she received the money, she disappeared without leaving any trace.

Additional information shared by the authorities of the city of Cali, where she was detained, adds that the woman managed to steal from her victims an approximate amount of 50 million Colombian pesos, which is equivalent to $ 16,000.

Unusually, the woman, born in Medellín, also posed as a psychologist and social worker, false identities with whom she came to give talks and conferences in different schools on drug use prevention and the management of social networks.

His capture occurred in the midst of a routine police operation and he is now facing charges for the crimes of grand theft, fraud and injury.
