British model George Koh, known for being the image of brands like Louis Vuitton, was convicted of murdering fellow model Harry Uzoka.

The fatal incident occurred in January after Koh, 24, and Uzoka, 25, were involved in a social media dispute, the Associated Press reported.

Prosecutors say Koh was envious of Uzoka, who was growing up in the fashion industry after winning a contract with Premier Model Management and modeling for GQ magazine and the Zara brand.

Dunn, 28, paid tribute to Uzoka after his murder. "Rest in Paradise Young King," he wrote in a message he posted on Twitter.

Before his death, Uzoka called Koh "false" and asked him to stop "copying" it.

"Leave my name out of your mouth, it's that simple, I have never spoken ill of you in any way, so this is wild," Uzoka wrote in a message to Koh.

The two then decided to clarify their differences in person after Koh claimed that he had slept with Uzoka's girlfriend, model Ruby Campbell, whom Uzoka met at a photoshoot in Los Angeles last summer.

Once they met in person at a London location, Uzoka was encompassed by Koh and his friends.

Uzoka was stabbed with a knife three times and died on the scene.

Koh, who told the judge he was carrying the knives in self-defense, and his friend Merse Dikanda, 24, were found guilty of murder. A third person involved, Jonathan Okigbo, was charged with involuntary manslaughter.

They will all be sentenced on September 21.
