The first lady of Poland, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, ignored President Donald Trump when he extended his hand to greet her during a protocol act in that country.
Kornhauser-Duda walked directly to where Melania Trump was located and she did reach out and shook it. Trump ignored it.
However, the incident appears to have been a case of omission by the wife of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda and not a premeditated rejection. Even, it is seen how when greeting Melania he takes advantage of the moment to exchange a few words.
Certainly, the unrequited greeting from the Polish first lady seems to have caused a bit of uncertainty for Trump, who was sparing with a medium smile on his face.
If we look closely at the video, we see that Kornhauser-Duda does turn to greet President Trump. Only she chose to do it first with her counterpart. She does not appear to have had ulterior motives or malicious intent.
Immediately afterwards, Trump walked towards the public. However, he left Melania behind him, he did not wait for her to walk together.
Undoubtedly, the effusive handshakes of Donald Trump are already expected by the press during the political events attended by the United States President.
