Taking on the role of the first lady of the United States has become an unexpected opportunity for Melania Trump to publicize her native Slovenia - formerly known as Yugoslavia. Now, various companies in that country have come together to offer tourists tours of the most representative places where the former model spent her life, according to the US television channel NBC.

Melania Knavs, the birth name of the now first lady, came to life in a small town called Sevnica which is located just over 80 kilometers from the Slovenian capital and has almost 5,000 inhabitants. This region has now been transformed into a tourist center whose main attraction is a five-hour walk in which those sites that were important to her during her childhood and youth are visited.
