For very few, it should come as a surprise that where you live influences your professional success.
This is confirmed by the individual finance website WalletHub, which has created a list of the states that help or harm your job progress.
To determine where the best options are, experts from that medium compared the 50 states through key characteristics such as job opportunities and job growth, the unemployment rate, employee satisfaction, benefits, average wages, and even, the time it takes to get to work.
Each piece of information was classified on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for job applicants. Then the total score for each state was calculated based on its weighted average in all the metrics and thus the final classification was reached.
According to the analysis released on Thursday, the state of Washington occupies the position number 1 and in the last places were Kentucky, Louisiana and West Virginia.
This is the list of the top 10 states for job opportunities …
- Washington.
- Colorado.
- N. H.
- South Dakota.
- New Jersey.
- Minnesota.
- Massachusetts.
- California.
- Tennessee.
- Florida.
You know, if you don't live in those states, maybe you can assess your situation and move to one of them … or at least start sending resumes!
