Singer Paulina Rubio is mourning the death of someone very special to her: her puppy Cookie.

On Thursday afternoon, January 30, the Mexican shared on her Instagram account the death of the puppy that had been her faithful companion for years - and thanked her for her loyalty.

“Thanks for so many years together my beautiful Cookie. You will be very missed”, she wrote with a video with memories of her pet. “[Have] you seen a better friend than a dog? (Never)".

The signs of support from his followers and colleagues did not wait, among them the singer Ana Bárbara who expressed solidarity with her loss. "Oh I'm crying … Kisses Pau", wrote the singer-songwriter.

This is the second pet from which the Golden Girl has had to say goodbye; a few years ago he said goodbye to his beloved Pomerian Miranda. The dog was not only her travel companion for around 12 years, but she also stole attention in the singer's videos, in her appearances on red carpets and even in interviews with her. In addition, Miranda participated with his barking in the song "Dogs" by the mother of Andrea Nicolás and Eros.

The singer has been characterized by her great love for dogs, even joining the PETA group to raise awareness about the importance of treating animals better.
