The Step By Step Of Emeraude Toubia's Wedding Makeup

They all want every last detail to be perfect on their wedding day, but if there is one thing that especially brings brides upside down, it is that makeup is literally the best look of their entire lives. That is why the catwalk and celebrity makeup artist Luís Torres recognizes on his social networks that for him there is no greater privilege than for a woman to trust him for his big day. And even more if it is a star!

The Mexican took care of the fabulous makeup that Emeraude Toubia wore in her wedding with Prince Royce and that we show you exclusively in the latest issue of People en español that you can already get at your kiosk. What was the inspiration or look the bride was looking for?

Our inspiration was a look I made at Emeraude for a magazine cover that she really liked. There was only change on the lips, which this time were more creamy to make them look perfect. We are always inspired by those skins that we see on the catwalks and that hardly wear much makeup. What we wanted to achieve was a porcelain skin, luminous and that the makeup texture was not noticeable and for this we used mostly cream products. [For example] the Make Up Forever Stick base, NARS Blush Creme and Tom Ford cream highlighter.

What products did you use to get that subtle smoky in earth colors?

For the eyes we went with very neutral colors using the Saddle De MAC eye shadow, a very fine brown eyeliner from Benefit, and creating an “encapsulation” and in the central part of the mobile eyelid with [tone] Rose Gold from the palette PatMC Grath Mothership.

What was the thing you wanted to highlight most about makeup?

What I wanted to highlight of the face was the skin as the main focus and then the eyes, but she has very expressive eyes and if we apply a lot of shadow, the makeup can become more forced. The tab was very natural, I applied them one by one!

Any anecdote that you can share with us that the cameras captured?

Hahaha. Emeraude is just as perfectionist as I am! He had never seen a girlfriend who cared so much about details, she really was in everything! From how to make the guests feel, to taking care of the rose that had fallen in a corner where no one looked more than her. In what took longer was the eyelashes, she always helps me choose them and she does it very well.
