Large companies usually make a lot of money, however that also makes them prone to having large losses, higher expenses, and being involved in lawsuits that do not always win. Many companies have had to face complicated cases in court and for which they have had to shell out large amounts of money. That's exactly what can happen to Victoria's Secret, and all for allegedly copying a design that already belonged to another company.

It turns out that the lingerie company designed a fabric bag that says Love Made Me Do It and like a neon sign posted in almost every store. It is for that phrase that the brand Love Made Me Do It also known as Love Made, which already had the phrase patented, filed a lawsuit in a California court against said company.

"Inexplicably in 2017 the company started using the phrase Love Made Me Do to promote a fragrance and launched a promotional bag and other items," says the lawsuit filed by Linda Nguyen, who founded the brand in 2008. "And even more. Amazing is that the company uses neon signs that say Love Made Me Do It."

Nguyen wants the court to find Victoria's Secret responsible for using a patented brand and causing unfair competition between the two businesses. The brand seeks monetary compensation for the alleged damages caused. They also want the famous company to stop using the phrase immediately.

Victoria's Secret has so far not responded to the lawsuit, nor has it sent a statement to defend itself against the allegations.
