Donating and supporting the people of your country is the most noble thing to do. Peruvian accessories brand Huma Blanco is the perfect example of this. Due to the devastating floods that Peru has suffered in recent months, more than 700,000 people have lost their homes due to these storms and, as a result, are now in great need of basic products such as water, mattresses, clothing and food. Because of this, Huma Blanco has decided to donate 50% of the profits from his new collection of three limited edition shoes to the OLI Peru Foundation, whose purpose is to strengthen social and family relationships in the areas of health, education, culture and environment. The shoes in this collection have a fun red heart print that contrasts the black background and are made with calfskin to create a more sophisticated look.
Huma Blanco's designer and creative director, Adriana Crocco, is a third-generation shoemaker, making her work even more personal and special. The brand's products are made in a family workshop and its objective is to follow the artisan traditions of the Incas of Peru. In addition to this collaboration with the OLI Peru Foundation, each Huma Blanco product donates a percentage of its profits to the Niños del Arco Iris organization that helps families in need in Cusco.
