It was in December that Juan Espinoza, better known as Carlitos the Producer - one of the popular characters in the show El gordo y la flaca (Univision) - surprised the world by announcing that he and his partner were expecting a child.

This Tuesday the followers of the evening program that Raúl de Molina and Lili Estefan lead received with dismay the news that little Sebastián is ill.

It was his own father who shared on the networks a photo of the minor bedridden in his hospital bed and connected to a sensor. Dressed in a salmon-colored bathrobe, with a sad look and a pacifier, the boy looked at the camera while his father took a selfie of both of them.

"My poor chubby is sick and has bronchitis, but soon if God wants we will go back to the house !!!" Carlitos said in the post that immediately caused an avalanche of comments from his followers wishing the child a speedy recovery.

"May God heal that doll soon," said an Instagram user. "Good health and speedy recovery for your prince," said another follower, adding an emoji as a sign of prayers.

In June, the friendly character introduced his family on the networks by sharing a tender photo with Silvia Díaz - his inseparable partner and with whom he has been in relationship for twenty-three years - hugging the child.

Carlitos has become an indispensable character and a total accomplice to the antics of Gordo and La Flaca, with whom he has danced, cried and even sung with celebrities such as former Democratic candidate for the presidency, Hillary Clinton, and Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin.

Carlitos started his career as a salesperson in a store. It was there that a producer discovered him and from that moment he conquered everyone with his characters in the disappeared show Giant Saturday and later in El gordo y la flaca.
