After two months of separation, Marjorie de Sousa and Julián Gil met again Tuesday before a judge from the Mexico City court of law.
In an audience that lasted approximately 80 minutes, the actors tried to smooth over rough edges to no avail. "We did not reach an agreement," De Sousa told People en Español. "[I am] confident in what I said from the beginning, [that] the judge will determine in a timely manner what is best according to the laws and the evidence presented."
According to the program El gordo y la flaca (Univision), Gil appeared to answer the demand filed by the actress in which she allegedly asks for a monthly pension of or very quiet quesadillas on the street and even took photos. "I consider myself a very passive person, he knows it, I am not violent and the only thing I did in the time I was with him was to give love to him, the child, his mother."
While Gil has given interviews to discuss the lawsuit, De Sousa has so far preferred to remain silent. "I trust God and justice," he limited himself to telling People en Español, without giving further details.
The actors announced their separation last April and from that moment a war broke out between them.
It is unknown at the moment if Gil saw his son, something that - according to De Sousa - he has never denied.
