How did you decide to become a chef?

I am a chef after my work in restaurants and food distribution in the United States. Later I met a chef who made me a proposal to make a restaurant.

Tell us about Wake Up … how did you get into the program?

It comes thanks to the restaurant [that I have] because we advertised the restaurant on various channels and I was more invited by them. One day after so many visits they sat down and told us that they wanted someone steady and that they were offering me a job.

What has been your biggest challenge when facing cameras?

It was a challenge. There is pressure on live television. Mixing the two things cooking [and in front of cameras] requires attention and live television is a [positive] requirement.

How do you do to be in shape?

I do sports from university. I don't have a strict diet. I'm addicted to sweets, it's hard for me to quit. I'm eating and I'm already thinking about dessert. I eat healthy, I don't eat fries or junk food. Zero fast food, I try to make it homemade and balanced.

5 tips to stay in shape

  1. Loving yourself and making the decision that you are going to take care of yourself.
  2. Education. You have to respect the hours of the meal and know what you are going to eat.
  3. Organization
  4. Respect late food. Eating at night is terrible, it is bad to eat after 7 at night.
  5. Always think about drinking a lot of water.
