Police arrested a father in Phonexi, Az, who confessed to bending his newborn baby back because he lost patience at her screaming.

The man identified as Adán Flores took the girl to the emergency room at Phoenix Children's Hospital, where multiple wounds and even blood were found in her mouth, local media reported.

According to authorities, upon arriving at the medical center, the 22-year-old said that he had sat on the girl by accident. However, he later gave another version when questioned.

The ABC 15 channel indicated that Flores confessed that he put the little girl on her knees and bent her back causing "multiple fractures in the ribs, a lacerated liver, fractured legs, bleeding inside the palate and bleeding in the eyes."

Police say the father also admitted twisting the girl's legs until they heard a snap and that he tried "to aggressively insert a thermometer into the victim's mouth" to silence her screaming, according to Daily Mail reports.

Following his confession, Flores was arrested at the same hospital and now faces six counts of child abuse. A bond of $ 100,000 was set for him.

The young man had expressed remorse at what he did, ensuring that he felt guilty for what happened to the little girl. In addition, he said he was afraid the mother would leave him, local Phoenix media reported.
