A Young Man 16 Murders His Mother And His Two Brothers

A young man of just 16 is in custody of the Alabama police for being the prime suspect in a triple knife-tip murder. The victims? His mother and two brothers, who were twins.

According to People, authorities maintain that the teenager Landon Hudson Durham committed the crime on the morning of Tuesday, January 21, before going to his school in the town of Munford.

The victims identified as Holli Christina Durham, 36, and twins Branson William and Joseph Durham, 13, were found by police later the same day at their home.

The cause of death seems to be due to stab wounds. A person of concern has been detained for questioning,”authorities from the Talladega County Sheriff's Office wrote on their Facebook account.

Talladega County District Attorney Steven Giddens revealed at a press conference that the suspect will be charged as an adult and expressed his regret at the tragedy that has been experienced in this small community of about 1,360 residents.

“This is the type of crime seen on television or in the media or on the Internet that occurs elsewhere. Having it here really hits the mark. Munford, like all the communities in this county, is quite united, and I know they are suffering and so are we,”said Giddens, according to the New York Post.
