This is how Watts' parents Frank and Sandra Rzucek are remembering their daughter and grandchildren in their first interview, nearly four months after Watts and their daughters were murdered at their Colorado home by Chris Watts, Shanann's husband..

“She was fun, full of life. She did a lot of things,”Sandra said of Shanann in an interview with ABC News that will air on the 20/20 show. "She was in everything," said Sandra. "She was incredible."

Sandra said her daughter "never gave up" and kept a clear vision, "to make sure her children had everything they needed," Shanann's father explained. "She had a good soul," Frank told ABC.

However, Chris, her husband of almost six years, had started a secret relationship with a coworker the summer before murdering her family. It was this selfish infatuation with her lover, and the "new beginning" she envisioned, that motivated the killings, prosecutors said.

"She would do anything for her children," said Frank. "She just loved her children, and she wanted them to have everything."

Shanann was a regular user of social media, where she posted frequent updates on her young family and work, which seemed to all of us to be perfectly fine. When asked if she was happy, her parents told ABC that she "absolutely" was.
