A baby boy who was only 2 months old died when his mother accidentally dropped him on the floor in the middle of a popular supermarket.
According to the Vanguardia newspaper, the unusual accident happened in a Walmart store in Oaxaca, Mexico. There, on Sunday afternoon a desperate mother approached the customer service area asking for help for her 2-month-old and 15-day-old son. As indicated at that time, in a regrettable oversight the little boy had fallen while she carried him in her arms. When she fell, she hit her head and lost consciousness.
Immediately, the employees asked for help through the sound system among the clients and two doctors approached to help the inconsolable mother's baby. Meanwhile, the staff on duty formed a human fence to hinder people from approaching and made it more difficult for the doctors, who tried to provide him with first aid. Unfortunately, all efforts of the doctors were in vain because the innocent creature no longer showed signs of life.
Red Cross personnel arrived at the scene and transferred the baby to the nearest hospital, where his death was confirmed.
Although neither the name of the creature nor that of its mother have been released at the moment, the Oaxaca authorities did indicate that they are investigating the causes that caused such a regrettable accident.
