A message sent by social networks changed the lives of 10,000 people. How was it possible Patrick Cakirli, a Danish man, was on a losing streak after his girlfriend had abandoned him. His past was not rosy either, as half of his life was spent in an orphanage and he was also abused. Seeing himself saturated with sadness and despair, he decided to send an anonymous message to Jodel. "I am desperate to find new friends," he wrote. “I am alone and going through the most difficult periods of my life. I will sit on the stairs in front of the municipality from 2 to 8 at night. I have black pants and a North Face balls”.
That day the 26-year-old received 13 responses the instant he posted his message. All messages were from people who were sad and desolate like him. So everyone got together and posted the photos on social media. Thanks to his message hundreds of people found new friends in Denmark.
As a result of everything that happened, Cakirli created Smilet Danmark, a project that makes people have contact with other people and thus you will never feel lonely or depressed.
Today more than 10 thousand people are registered in this social network and from what you can see, they are all more than happy and above all, accompanied.
