Teen Beheads His Mother

A truly terrifying scene was when police officers came to a call at a North Carolina home after a teenager called 911 claiming that he had beheaded his mother.

It was Oliver Funes-Machado, 18, who made the call, around 12:45 pm to alert authorities to come to his North Franklin County home. There they found the young Honduran man with a butcher knife and his mother's head in his hands.

"When they arrived, he was beheading (sic) in his hands and it was a bloody scene," Sheriff Kent Winstead told local radio station WRAL.

The mother, Yesenia Funez Beatriz Machado. The 35-year-old was stabbed multiple times by her son before he cut off her head.

According to People's reports, after the arrival of the police, Machado placed his mother's head on the ground and was later handcuffed. At the home, the police found two more children, 2 and 3 years old, but it was not clear if they were related to the victim. Another son of the deceased remained in school at the time the crime was perpetrated.

Machado is now facing charges of first degree murder and his situation would be complicated because according to Dailycaller reports he is in the country without documents.
